It is the highest-rated project in the competition in the Universal 2.2 module of the National Program for the Development of Humanities.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project involves the first translation into Polish, a scientific study and publication in 19 volumes and on the website of 37 most important European and American utopian works from the 17th to the beginning of the 20th century, written in English, French, Latin, German and Russian.\u00a0It is a phenomenon worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The project is scheduled to be run for five years.\u00a0The scientific editing of the volumes and translations will be carried out by a team of experienced literary and cultural scholars from the University of Gda\u0144sk, the Maria Curie Sk\u0142odowska University in Lublin, the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and the Ignatianum Academy in Krakow.<\/p>\n<p>More:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/translate.google.com\/translate?hl=ru&amp;prev=_t&amp;sl=pl&amp;tl=en&amp;u=https:\/\/ug.edu.pl\/news\/pl\/1346\/kanon-swiatowej-literatury-utopijnej-w-polskim-przekladzie-grant-dla-badaczy-ug\">https:\/\/ug.edu.pl\/news\/pl\/1346\/kanon-swiatowej-literatury-utopijnej-w-polskim-przekladzie-grant-dla-badaczy-ug<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prof.\u00a0 Artur Blaim from the philology department of the University of Gda\u0144sk will lead the project &#8220;Canon of utopian world literature in Polish translation&#8221;.
