{"id":18104,"date":"2018-05-18T17:09:14","date_gmt":"2018-05-18T15:09:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=18104"},"modified":"2018-05-18T17:09:14","modified_gmt":"2018-05-18T15:09:14","slug":"medical-university-of-gdansk-projects-achieve-funding-in-opus-14","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/medical-university-of-gdansk-projects-achieve-funding-in-opus-14\/","title":{"rendered":"Medical University of Gda\u0144sk projects achieve funding in OPUS 14"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Three projects of scientists of the Medical University of Gda\u0144sk have received funding from the National Science Center in the 14th OPUS 14 competition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The laureates include the scientists from the molecular enzyme department at the inter-university faculty of biotechnology: Dr Rafa\u0142 S\u0105dej with the project &#8220;The role of FGFR2 in the regulation of autophagy in breast cancer &#8211; prognostic significance&#8221; and Dr Patrycja Kosza\u0142ka for the project &#8220;The role of CD73 (ecto-5&#8242;-nucleotidazay) in the processes of promotion and progression of breast cancer and its evaluation as a therapeutic target&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The project &#8220;Study of reproductive potential of oocytes and embryos with the use of proteomic analysis of alveolar and culture fluid&#8221; by Prof. Krzysztof \u0141ukaszuk from the obstetrics and gynecology nursing department of the health sciences also was financed.<br \/>\nOver PLN 4.2 million will allow the employment of young scientists in post-doc positions and the payment of scholarships for students and PhD students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Three projects of scientists of the Medical University of Gda\u0144sk have received funding from the National Science Center in the 14th OPUS 14 competition.
