{"id":180499,"date":"2021-05-27T13:30:18","date_gmt":"2021-05-27T11:30:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=180499"},"modified":"2021-05-27T13:30:18","modified_gmt":"2021-05-27T11:30:18","slug":"candidates-for-the-silesian-science-award-can-be-submitted-until-may-31st","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/candidates-for-the-silesian-science-award-can-be-submitted-until-may-31st\/","title":{"rendered":"Candidates for the Silesian Science Award can be submitted until May 31st"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Once again, the Silesian Science Award will be granted to researchers and creators who have significantly\u00a0contributed to the development of science and presented outstanding artistic achievements, as well as promoted Silesian science on the national and international arena<\/strong> <strong>as part of the Silesian Science Festival Katowice.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is a prestigious award granted by all universities co-organizing the Festival.\u00a0It can be obtained for overall achievements obtained in the two years preceding the year of granting the award.<\/p>\n<p>Applications will be accepted until May 31.\u00a0Each university is selecting candidates from among employees and doctoral students according to its own internal procedure, and the laureates are selected by a jury composed of representatives of universities co-organizing the festival.\u00a0This year, the work of the jury is headed by Prof.\u00a0 Eng.\u00a0Marek Pawe\u0142czyk, Vice-Rector for Science and Development at the Silesian University of Technology.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Once again, the Silesian Science Award will be granted to researchers and creators who have significantly\u00a0contributed to the development of science and presented outstanding artistic achievements, as well as promoted Silesian science on the national and international arena as part of the Silesian Science Festival Katowice.
