{"id":179972,"date":"2021-05-24T17:16:12","date_gmt":"2021-05-24T15:16:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=179972"},"modified":"2021-05-24T17:16:12","modified_gmt":"2021-05-24T15:16:12","slug":"scientists-to-receive-almost-pln-668-million-in-competitions-of-the-national-science-center","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/scientists-to-receive-almost-pln-668-million-in-competitions-of-the-national-science-center\/","title":{"rendered":"Scientists to receive almost PLN 668 million in competitions of the National Science Center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The National Science Center (NCN) has published the results of this year\u2019s OPUS + LAP, SONATA and PRELUDIUM BIS competitions.\u00a0The ranking lists included 638 projects with a total value of almost PLN 668 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The OPUS + LAP competition is aimed at scientists at all stages of their careers.\u00a0The NCN received 2,122 applications for a total amount of over PLN 2.3 billion.\u00a0Experts selected 342 projects worth over PLN 449 million for financing.<\/p>\n<p>The SONATA program aims to support people starting their scientific careers in conducting innovative basic research with the use of modern equipment or an original methodological solution.\u00a0Scientists submitted 1,123 applications for the total amount of PLN 891 million.\u00a0Ultimately, 180 projects received funding of almost PLN 161 million.<\/p>\n<p>Doctoral schools may apply for funding within the PRELUDIUM BIS call.\u00a0282 scientists starting their careers applied for the amount of almost PLN 139 million.\u00a0According to the experts&#8217; decision, 116 applicants will receive grants for nearly PLN 58 million.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Science Center (NCN) has published the results of this year\u2019s OPUS + LAP, SONATA and PRELUDIUM BIS competitions.\u00a0The ranking lists included 638 projects with a total value of almost PLN 668 million.
