{"id":178381,"date":"2021-05-12T14:47:03","date_gmt":"2021-05-12T12:47:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=178381"},"modified":"2021-05-12T14:47:03","modified_gmt":"2021-05-12T12:47:03","slug":"krakow-agh-students-to-design-helping-hand-fingerprint","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/krakow-agh-students-to-design-helping-hand-fingerprint\/","title":{"rendered":"Krakow AGH students to design Helping Hand &#8211; FingerPrint"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Students of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow are working on a biomechanical finger prosthesis for patients after traumatic amputations.\u00a0The result of their work is to be a durable, mobile, functional and, above all, personalized<\/strong> <strong>prosthesis of the future.\u00a0Thanks to the production based on 3D printing technology, the model will be cheap, easy to replace and available to everyone in need.\u00a0The non-commercial student project is called AGH UST Helpful Hand &#8211; FingerPrint.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AGH students are implementing the project comprehensively: from modelling and construction, through production (printing), to testing. They have already developed four prototypes of prostheses.
