Under the call, 11 projects were allocated for funding for a total amount of almost PLN 11.7 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Most applications were submitted in science and\u00a0technology\u00a0categories\u00a0&#8211; 56, 41 applications were submitted in humanities, social sciences and art, and in\u00a0life sciences &#8211; 36. 11 research projects were qualified for funding for a total amount of PLN\u00a011,691,311.<\/p>\n<p>The winners of the humanities, social sciences and art categories will examine mobility, migration and the COVID-19 epidemic in terms of emergency management in Lithuania and Poland. Scientists of life sciences will research manipulation of drug resistance in cancer cells through nanosecond, asymmetric pulse sequences.
