{"id":173552,"date":"2021-04-02T16:22:39","date_gmt":"2021-04-02T14:22:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=173552"},"modified":"2021-04-02T16:22:39","modified_gmt":"2021-04-02T14:22:39","slug":"the-nobel-laureate-receives-an-honorary-doctorate-from-the-university-of-adam-mickiewicz-in-poznan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/the-nobel-laureate-receives-an-honorary-doctorate-from-the-university-of-adam-mickiewicz-in-poznan\/","title":{"rendered":"The Nobel laureate receives an honorary doctorate from the University of\u00a0Adam Mickiewicz in Pozna\u0144"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Senate of the University of\u00a0Adam Mickiewicz in Pozna\u0144, awarded the title of doctor honoris causa to Prof.\u00a0Jean-Marie Lehn &#8211; Nobel laureate in chemistry, one of the most outstanding scientists.\u00a0The Senate&#8217;s decision was made unanimously.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prof.\u00a0Jean-Marie Lehn is a friend of the University of\u00a0Adam Mickiewicz in Pozna\u0144.\u00a0The university graduates prepared doctoral theses under his supervision, they did internships in Strasbourg, where he has been working.\u00a0The scientist supported the efforts of the Pozna\u0144 university for grants, being a consultant.\u00a0He is also a laureate of the Medal of Merit for the Pozna\u0144 university.<\/p>\n<p>Prof.\u00a0Lehn created an interpretive instrument called supramolecular chemistry.\u00a0He provided it with appropriate concepts and definitions, for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1987.\u00a0The award was granted to Prof.\u00a0Lehn, as well as Donald J. Cram and Charles J.
