Jacek B\u0142a\u017cewicz, Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications of the Pozna\u0144 University of Technology has won the prestigious distinction of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Distinguished Scientist).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The award, granted under the CAS President&#8217;s International Fellowship program, recognizes foreign scientists who are recognized authorities in their research fields and who have outstanding scientific achievements. Prof. B\u0142a\u017cewicz is one of the laureates in the field of engineering and information technology. The nomination for this award was submitted by the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Jacek B\u0142a\u017cewicz is the director of the European Center for Bioinformatics and Genomics and the Institute of Computer Science of the Pozna\u0144 University of Technology.
