In search of an optimal solution\u201d by Dr Wojciech Jasi\u0144ski, Department of Criminal Procedure of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wroc\u0142aw received the title of &#8220;Legal book most useful in the practice of justice in 2019&#8221; in the 12th competition organized by the Wolters Kluwer Polska and the journal &#8220;Przegl\u0105d S\u0105dowy&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The author arranged the terminological and historical issues in this field. Dr Jasi\u0144ski indicated the main problems related to the status of defective evidence in criminal proceedings and presented reasons for the elimination of illegally obtained evidence from the criminal trial. He also analyzed normative regulations in force in Poland concerning this problem, and presented how it is practiced in other countries.<\/p>\n<p>The awarded book is the first scientific monograph on the subject of illegally obtained evidence in a criminal trial.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The book \u201cIllegally Obtained Evidence in a Criminal Trial.
