Out of over one thousand projects submitted in various categories, 72 were selected. 1 million PLN was allocated for their implementation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the Science and Development category the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Warsaw for the project &#8220;Ways of managing the bird poultry&#8221; and the Institute of Public Initiatives Foundation for the project to create the Polish Leaders&#8217; Academy were awarded PLN 30,000 each.<\/p>\n<p>The other awarded winners include: University of Life Sciences in Poznan for the project &#8220;Wheat and corn straw as a potential material for the production of bioethanol and biomethane&#8221;, Student Scientific Circle at the Medical University of Gda\u0144sk for the project &#8220;The impact of silver nanoparticles&#8217; functionalization on their antimicrobial properties&#8221; and the Cardinal Stefan Wyszy\u0144ski University in Warsaw for the project &#8220;Summer School of Young Scientists&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Cedrob Group from Ciechan\u00f3w presented the results of the grant competition &#8220;We support development&#8221;.
