They were awarded for developing methods of obtaining dihydrochalcones &#8211; potential sweeteners in the food industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; In fact, a series of 24 inventions concerning the methods of obtaining dihydrochalcones was distinguished. Some of these compounds are produced in small amounts by plants.
