The students received a strategic grant from the rector of AGH UST for the project.<\/p>\n<p>Students have already made engine tests in laboratory and started the engine and the propeller at 75% of the power. They are currently designing a dedicated control interface that will be a hybrid of standard control systems used in drones and helicopters. The improved version of the system will allow the pilot to control the ship more intuitively.<\/p>\n<p>The strategic rector&#8217;s grant in the amount of PLN 46 851 will be allocated to the implementation and integration of the control interface and the expansion of the power supply system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Members of the NewTech Student Science Club operating at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow will develop a manned aircraft &#8211; The Smaller One.
