Piotr Pa\u0144czyk from the Wroc\u0142aw University of Technology, Damian Granosik from the Lodz University of Technology and Jakub Kulisa from the Cracow University of Technology designed a folded tower for the victims of natural disasters.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Skyshelter.zip &#8211; a portable skyscraper built like a balloon is made of a nanomaterial based on EFTE foil (ethylene tetrafluoroethylene). It is a multifunctional center for various types of rescue operations. The whole structure, with a maximum length of 100 and a 10-by-10-meter base, folds like an accordion or origami. The rescuers can control the number of floors that will be spread out through the amount of gas pumped into the interior,<\/p>\n<p>eVolo Skyscraper Competition is one of the most prestigious architecture competitions.
