The guest of the Wroc\u0142aw university will be Prof. Marina Balina from the American Illinois Wesleyan University. The event will be held on March 8 on the MS Teams platform.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Her lecture &#8220;Writing Ancient History as&#8221; Oppositional Enlightenment&#8221;: On Historical Novels in Soviet Children&#8217;s Literature of the 1960s \u2013 1970s&#8221; is devoted to the function of ancient history as &#8220;oppositional enlightenment&#8221; in historical novels in Soviet children&#8217;s literature of the 1960s and 1970s.
