{"id":165682,"date":"2021-02-05T18:43:29","date_gmt":"2021-02-05T17:43:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=165682"},"modified":"2021-02-05T18:43:29","modified_gmt":"2021-02-05T17:43:29","slug":"4-polish-universities-to-launch-national-network-of-coordinate-metrology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/4-polish-universities-to-launch-national-network-of-coordinate-metrology\/","title":{"rendered":"4 Polish universities to launch National Network of Coordinate Metrology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Four technical universities: the Krakow University of Technology (consortium leader) and the Pozna\u0144, Warsaw and \u015awi\u0119tokrzyska Universities of Technology are forming the scientific network and research center of the National Coordinate Metrology Network (NSMET).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project assumes establishing new facilities: the Laboratory of Ultraprecision Coordinate Measurements in Krak\u00f3w and the Multiscale Laboratory of Coordinate Measurement Technology in Pozna\u0144.<\/p>\n<p>Its unique, especially designed research equipment will allow to provide the most accurate coordinate measurements in the world. They will serve all fields of science and industry, from advanced optics, medicine, through mechanics, mechatronics to energy.<\/p>\n<p>The main goal of the NSMET project is to create in Poland a specialized research infrastructure for the development of coordinate metrology.
