{"id":162957,"date":"2021-01-21T18:02:59","date_gmt":"2021-01-21T17:02:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=162957"},"modified":"2021-01-27T18:03:43","modified_gmt":"2021-01-27T17:03:43","slug":"agh-university-of-science-and-technology-launches-laboratory-with-3d-printers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/agh-university-of-science-and-technology-launches-laboratory-with-3d-printers\/","title":{"rendered":"AGH University of Science and Technology launches laboratory with 3D printers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Faculty of Management of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krak\u00f3w has opened a modern engineering laboratory for the Management and Production Engineering faculty.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The student laboratory under the name of Engineering Innovation Lab (EIL), certified by the American company Makerbot a producer of professional 3D printers, is intended for two engineering subjects: Reverse Engineering and Rapid Prototyping at the Faculty of Management.<\/p>\n<p>There are 16 printing devices in the room, equipped with innovative software and a 3D scanner of the Polish company SmartTech. It allows each student to learn the practical principles of 3D printing during the course on an individual workplace equipped with a software workstation and a 3D printer.
