Jakub Zdarta, Faculty of Chemical Technology of the Pozna\u0144 University of Technology became a scholarship holder of the Mieczys\u0142aw Bekker competition organized by the National Agency for Academic Exchange. As part of the internship, the scientist will work at the Danish Technical University.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main assumption of his project &#8220;Functional layer-by-layer biocatalytic membranes for various catalytic applications&#8221; is the production of innovative systems of immobilized and co-immobilized enzymes based on layer-by-layer membranes. They can be used in catalytic conversion processes.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the work, multifunctional enzyme membrane reactors will be designed and constructed, which will allow for the implementation of processes of enzymatic conversion of biomass and biodegradation of selected environmental pollutants. The project is highly innovative, and the developed solutions are characterized by an innovative approach and have a high application potential.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr Eng.
