The work is financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway from the European Economic Area and Norwegian Funds. The university in Pozna\u0144 will receive PLN 7.5 million for research.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The concept of ecosystem services in a general sense is defined as the set of products (e.g. wood, forest fruits, game) and ecosystem services (e.g. water and air purification, oxygen production, recreation areas) used by society.<\/p>\n<p>Pozna\u0144 scientists will examine these services in relation to Polish conditions on a national, regional and local scale, and will also develop indicators for their evaluation.
