Anti- virus gates will help staff disinfect the area, which will reduce the risk of spreading the coronavirus.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The facilities, where modern gates are installed, employ a total of almost 300 people with 500 places for patients &#8211; including those of the highest risk group. The cost of one gate is approx. 25 thousand PLN<\/p>\n<p>The first anti- virus gate was installed in Specialist Hospital no. 1 in spring. It enables medical personnel to disinfect their protective suits. The prototype of the device was constructed by employees and graduates of the Silesian University of Technology and the technological start-up WAAM.
