{"id":152902,"date":"2020-11-05T16:56:57","date_gmt":"2020-11-05T15:56:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=152902"},"modified":"2020-11-05T16:56:57","modified_gmt":"2020-11-05T15:56:57","slug":"scientists-of-opole-and-silesia-conduct-unique-coronavirus-experiment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/scientists-of-opole-and-silesia-conduct-unique-coronavirus-experiment\/","title":{"rendered":"Scientists of Opole and Silesia conduct unique coronavirus experiment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Scientists of the University of Opole, the Cardio-Med Silesia Medical Technology Park in Zabrze and the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice conducted a research experiment involving the performance of serological tests on health care workers to check whether they had become immune to the coronavirus.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The tests were performed in 3 hospitals, including the University Teaching Hospital in Opole. About 200 doctors, nurses, diagnosticians and paramedics were examined. The tests consisted of collecting venous blood twice, at two-week intervals.
