The international project MarBaccines received funding from the National Center for Research and Development.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The MarBaccines project aims to search, identify and characterize bacteriocins produced by bacteria inhabiting the Sea of \u200b\u200bMarmara and exhibiting bactericidal activity. Thanks to their unique properties, they can become an alternative to antibiotics.
