The \u0141ukasiewicz &#8211; Polish Center for Technology Development (PORT) is inviting to participate to a meeting with an outstanding polymer researcher.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The scientist will visit Wroc\u0142aw as part of the Visiting Professors program. In the premises of the \u0141ukasiewicz &#8211; PORT at ul. Stab\u0142owicka he will give a lecture &#8220;Polymers &#8211; from plastics to smart materials&#8221;, in which he will discuss modern polymer materials, showing that nowadays polymers are much more than plastic.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Hoogenboom is one of the world&#8217;s leading scientists in the field of polymer chemistry. He has written over 400 scientific publications, which were cited by almost 20,000 times. He is a laureate of many prestigious awards, including the Carl S.
