{"id":149310,"date":"2020-10-09T15:16:13","date_gmt":"2020-10-09T13:16:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=149310"},"modified":"2020-10-09T15:16:13","modified_gmt":"2020-10-09T13:16:13","slug":"scientists-of-wroclaw-university-of-science-and-technology-preparing-support-for-polish-medical-institutions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/scientists-of-wroclaw-university-of-science-and-technology-preparing-support-for-polish-medical-institutions\/","title":{"rendered":"Scientists of Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology preparing support for Polish medical institutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Scientists of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology, together with doctors and employees of the Gromkowski Provincial Specialist Hospital are working on a solution that will support Polish medical institutions in the fight against the pandemic.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Researchers are developing a method for the immediate production of spare and alternative parts for medical and protective equipment, and create a virtual platform to deliver it to hospitals within twelve hours.<\/p>\n<p>The digital platform (Virtual AM Storage Covid-19) will include digital models of components and equipment for manufacturing. This allows companies, research institutes and other organizations involved in production to start printing the parts quickly.<\/p>\n<p>The undertaking also has a research aspect.
