Proposals may be submitted by September 10.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The organizers are proposing the following thematic blocks: The Katyn massacre in emigration journalism, the press and scientific activity; political initiatives of Polish refugees to explain and punish the perpetrators of the crime; The Katyn Massacre in the collective memory of Poles in Poland and in exile; and international opinion on the Katyn Massacre and its perpetrators.<\/p>\n<p>The Faculty of Humanities of the Koszalin university is one of the leading research centers in the country researching various aspects of the crime. The scientific conference &#8220;NKVD crimes in the territory of the Eastern provinces of the Republic of Poland 1939-1956&#8221; was held in 1995 on the initiative of its staff.
