Dr Anna Budzanowska, deputy minister of science and higher education handed a symbolic check to the university authorities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>-I am very pleased that in the jubilee year we fulfilled the promises of support given to the university. Undoubtedly, 95 years of the university\u2019s history has become a huge resource to the whole country, not only Krakow or region of the Lesser Poland. I am happy that I will be able to offer this check today &#8211; said Deputy Minister Budzanowska.<\/p>\n<p>Jaros\u0142aw Gowin, former head of the Ministry of Science, participated in the meeting with the UEK authorities and said that &#8220;due to the crisis of the global economy during the pandemic, we must decide on a new development strategy that will be based on supporting Polish companies, and also looking for niches, where we &#8211; Poles can be competitive in the world.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Krakow University of Economics (UEK) received PLN 90 million for implementation of development-oriented investments.
