Only 15% female students choose IT faculties.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Biomedical engineering is particularly popular among women at technical universities. It is science, where medical and biological knowledge are crucial apart from technical skills, (the share of women is 67% there). At private universities, the highest percentage of women (46%) was present in the field of bioinformatics.<\/p>\n<p>Among the new technology faculties, IT faculties are particularly important.
