Scientists will receive PLN 12 million to expand their knowledge in this field.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Quick Access Path to Funds for Research on COVID-19&#8221; competition aimed to identify projects that will contribute to understanding the mechanism of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, improving diagnostic tests, finding new drugs, and mitigating the social effects of the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The researchers submitted 262 applications for a total amount of over PLN 140 million, of which 259 were accepted for further substantive evaluation.
