According to the National Science Center, this year 207 international research applications were submitted in the &#8220;Democratic governance in a turbulent age&#8221; competition. 14 projects received funding of over EUR 17.8 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The winning projects, implemented with the participation of research teams from Poland include:<br \/>\nCrimScapes: Navigating citizenship in European criminalization landscapes. Head of the Polish team: Dr Agata Dziuban, Jagiellonian University.<\/p>\n<p>UNDPOLAR: Sense of danger, group identification and split: understanding and attempting to modify attitudes related to political polarization in European democracies. Head of the Polish team: Dr Marta Marchlewska, Institute of Psychology of the Polish Academy of Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>THREATPIE: Threats and opportunities related to changes in the political information environment. Head of the Polish team: Prof. Agnieszka St\u0119pi\u0144ska, University of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.<\/p>\n<p>POPBACK: Populist movement, withdrawal of liberal democracy and the crisis of a law state in the European Union.
