Non-invasive determination of human artery wall stiffness in vivo&#8221;. The total value of the grant is over 6.3 million PLN.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stiffening of the walls of blood vessels is primarily the result of aging. As a result, the diameter of large arteries and the thickness of their walls increases. Measurement of arterial stiffness is a valuable indicator in the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of the project is to develop a non-invasive technique for measuring local arterial wall stiffness.
