{"id":126554,"date":"2020-05-05T15:43:18","date_gmt":"2020-05-05T13:43:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=126554"},"modified":"2020-05-05T15:43:18","modified_gmt":"2020-05-05T13:43:18","slug":"scientists-from-the-medical-university-of-silesia-to-investigate-complications-in-patients-after-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/scientists-from-the-medical-university-of-silesia-to-investigate-complications-in-patients-after-covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Scientists from the Medical University of Silesia to investigate complications in patients after COVID-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Researchers at the Silesian Center for Heart Diseases in Zabrze, the Silesian Medical University and the Provincial Sanitary-Epidemiological Station in Katowice will carry out a study to determine the scale of the problem and the clinical significance of early complications in patients after COVID-19.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of the examination of people cured after COVID-19 infection, comprehensive cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, hepatological and psychiatric diagnostics will be carried out &#8211; including laboratory, imaging and functional tests.<\/p>\n<p>The results &#8211; in addition to determining the scale of the problem hitherto unknown &#8211; will allow the selection of studies that can be used as optimal tools to identify patients with early complications of SARSCov-2 infection.
