The team was formed by UN-Habitat in 2022 to support Poland and the city of Katowice in organizing this event.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The World Urban Forum (WUF) is the most important conference devoted to the creation and implementation of urban policies in the world, organized by UN-Habitat, the UN agenda on urbanization and urban settlements. Its goal is to solve the problems facing most cities in the world today &#8211; rapid urbanization and its impact on communities, cities, economies, and climate change.<\/p>\n<p>The event takes place every two years and brings together over 20,000 people, including representatives of governments, regions, cities and NGOs.<\/p>\n<p>Micha\u0142 Wola\u0144ski is an adjunct at the Institute of Infrastructure, Transport and Mobility SGH.
