The Real Time PCR tests used by Dr. Magdalena Przybyło belong to the most sensitive methods for detecting small amounts of RNA molecules in a sample. This allows to quickly examine the RNA of SARS-CoV-2 virus and thus identify an active infection.

The first attempts were successful and it allows the center to analyze 100 samples per day. After acquiring experience in testing, it is planned to test 200 samples, and in the long run up to 1,500 samples per day. The process requires to isolate workers providing testing and analyzing tests, so that the virus does not “get” out of the center, even in an unintentional way.

Dr Eng.
