Nature"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dr Agnieszka Gajewicz-Skr\u0119tna from the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Gda\u0144sk received the Internet users&#8217; prize in the \u201cLirene Woman plebiscite. Innovation. Nature\u201d competition. The laureate is developing new computer tools supporting chemical risk assessment that minimize the number of laboratory animals used for research, reducing the time and cost of research, and the amount of waste.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over 200 women representing Business, Lifestyle and Science participated in the competition. The organizers wanted to award activists, innovators and entrepreneurs who work for the environment and shape a better future through their everyday work.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Agnieszka Gajewicz-Skr\u0119tna from the beginning of her scientific work has worked for the faculty of chemistry of the University of Gda\u0144sk.
