Jerzy \u0141\u0105tka, an architect and scientist from the Faculty of Architecture of the Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology, became one of the 10 finalists of FameLab &#8211; an international competition that helps science promoters to improve their ability to speak simply about complex scientific issues.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; I was talking about my research on the possibilities of using paper in architecture &#8211; says Dr \u0141\u0105tka. &#8211; I focused on the impact of the construction industry on the natural environment, I talked about the opportunities and risks associated with paper, as well as about paper products that can already be used as construction materials today.<\/p>\n<p>The final of the competition is scheduled for May 16.
