They received almost PLN 7 million for the implementation of their research projects.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr Piotr Sur\u00f3wka will implement the project: &#8220;Critical phases of matter without energy barrier, from topology to geometry&#8221;; Dr Eng. Joanna Olesiak-Ba\u0144ska for &#8220;Gold nanoclusters with a defined number of atoms as new markers in single- and multiphoton microscopy&#8221;; Dr Katarzyna Maciejowska for &#8220;Short-term forecasting of electricity prices on the intraday market&#8221;, and Dr Marcin Magdziarz for the project &#8220;Probabilistic, numerical and statistical analysis of sub- and super-diffusion processes&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The competition was addressed to scholars with at least a doctoral title obtained in the period from 5 to 12 years before the year of submitting the application. The grant is intended to create a new research team.
