The purpose of the project is to develop a chemical rocket propulsion for a small satellite and its integration with the Hypersat platform, developed by Creotech.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project will last 3 years and will end with preparation for implementation and potential commercialization. It will also be the first chemical rocket propulsion in space, designed and constructed in Poland.<\/p>\n<p>The Space Technology Department (ZTK) will be responsible for the implementation of the project on the side of \u0141ukasiewicz Institute of Aviation.<br \/>\nPOLON is based on propulsion technologies developed by ZTK, using an ecological propellant &#8211; highly concentrated hydrogen peroxide.<\/p>\n<p>The project is funded by the National Center for Research and Development under the Fast Track for Mazovia program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In April 2020, the \u0141ukasiewicz Institute of Aviation in a consortium with Creotech Instruments S.A., will begin the implementation of the POLON project: Polish Drive Module.
