The competition was focused on issues related to the transformation of small particles (e.g. water, carbon dioxide, nitrogen) into more complex systems under the influence of sunlight.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Winning projects that will be implemented with the participation of research teams from Poland include:<br \/>\n\u201cProcesses induced by sunlight for photochemical conversion of methane\u201d. Head of the Polish team: Dr Dorota Anna Rutkowska-\u017bbik, Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The project is implemented with the participation of partners from Finland and France.<br \/>\n\u201cHydrogen photoproduction in a two-phase system with reconstruction of the electron donor\u201d. Head of the Polish team: Prof. Marcin Wojciech Opa\u0142\u0142o (coordinator of the entire international project), Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The project is implemented with the participation of partners from Finland and Switzerland.<br \/>\n\u201cEngineering of interface between semiconductor materials for highly selective light-induced chemical transformations\u201d. Head of the Polish team: Prof. Wojciech Macyk, Jagiellonian University.
