More than 145 initiatives applied for PMIB.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From June 4 to July 8, 2019, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education received applications to join the strategic research infrastructure on the Polish Map of Research Infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, the list included 70 infrastructures with the highest potential of scientific excellence, consolidating research potential in fields important for the development of science and the country.<\/p>\n<p>They were divided according to six research areas: technical sciences and energy (14), Earth and environment sciences (5), biological and medical sciences (16), physical and engineering sciences (23), social sciences and humanities (6), digital research infrastructures (6).<br \/>\nThe most projects at the PMIB were submitted by: National Center for Nuclear Research in Otwock-\u015awierk (7), Henryk Niewodnicza\u0144ski Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow (6) and the Jagiellonian University (5).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>70 research centers were included into the Polish Map of Research Infrastructure (PMIB) approved by the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
