The university organized trips combined with lectures and project work as part of the &#8220;OpenYourMine&#8221; initiative.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first group returned from Portugal and Cape Verde at the end of 2019. Students of the Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology, the French Universit\u00e9 Grenoble Alpes and the Portuguese NOVA University Lisbon viewed the mines and processing plants of the Iberian pyrite belt. Following group will travel to the Iberian Peninsula this year. In 2021, students from Portugal, France and Poland will research the extraction of mineral resources in Poland.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;OpenYourMine&#8221; project is funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology.
