Students from all over Poland were evaluated by a team of experts representing various fields of science and art. Awarded students will receive PLN 17,000 each.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The rectors provided the minister with 1,106 applications for a ministerial scholarship for significant achievements for the academic year 2019\/2020. The applications were evaluated by the Advisory Jury to Evaluate Applications for Grants from the ministries of higher education and science.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jaros\u0142aw Gowin decided to award 488 scholarships to students. Most scholarships were received by students of the Jagiellonian University &#8211; 106, University of Warsaw &#8211; 58, Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology &#8211; 40 and the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toru\u0144 &#8211; 33.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Almost 500 people will receive scholarships from the Minister of Science and Higher Education for significant scientific, artistic or sports achievements.
