{"id":107854,"date":"2019-12-20T13:46:05","date_gmt":"2019-12-20T12:46:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=107854"},"modified":"2019-12-20T13:46:05","modified_gmt":"2019-12-20T12:46:05","slug":"university-of-silesia-joins-the-european-universities-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/university-of-silesia-joins-the-european-universities-program\/","title":{"rendered":"University of Silesia joins the &#8220;European Universities&#8221; program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The University of Silesia in Katowice is participating in the second competition for the selection of European Universities &#8211; consortiums of higher education institutions from the European Union, implementing a joint long-term strategy and promoting European values and identity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The university consortium, with the participation of the University of Silesia, consists of: Universit\u00e4t des Saarlandes &#8211; Germany (project coordinator), Universidad de Alicante &#8211; Spain, Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Trieste &#8211; Italy, Vytauto Did\u017eiojo universitetas (University of Vytautas the Great) &#8211; Lithuania, Sofia University St. Clement of Ohrid &#8211; Bulgaria and the Estonian Academy of Fine Arts.<\/p>\n<p>European Universities is a flagship initiative of the European Education Area to create joint inter-university campuses.
