{"id":10435,"date":"2018-03-28T17:51:10","date_gmt":"2018-03-28T15:51:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=10435"},"modified":"2018-03-29T12:51:15","modified_gmt":"2018-03-29T10:51:15","slug":"researchers-of-the-medical-university-of-wroclaw-to-educate-children","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/researchers-of-the-medical-university-of-wroclaw-to-educate-children\/","title":{"rendered":"Researchers of the Medical University of Wroclaw educate children"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The harmfulness of smog, the benefits of a vegetarian diet, the prevention of addictions through sport and the prevention of tooth decay &#8211; these are the themes of the meeting as part of the Wroc\u0142aw Medical University&#8217;s &#8220;Uruchamiamy Dzieciaki&#8221; campaign.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Tomasz Zato\u0144ski presented studies on his thesis that Wroc\u0142aw is the second (after Krakow) most polluted city in Poland, and Dr. Katarzyna Neubauer tried to convince the audinece that a well- balanced vegetarian diet is appropriate at every stage of life.<\/p>\n<p>The researchers encouraged the young participants of the meeting to physical activity, explaining that sport is one of the forms of preventing addiction &#8211; it directs activity on other tracks, teaches how to function in the group, increases self-esteem and reduces the level of anxiety. Finally, the issue of &#8230; frequent teeth cleaning was presented.
