The award is granted by the Polish Chamber of Commerce &#8220;Sustainable Development&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Professor Obarska-Pempkowiak was awarded for the development and implementation of innovative hydrophyte technology in municipal management. The technology is based on biological processes involving aquatic and water-loving plants (hydrophytes) and microorganisms.<br \/>\nThe professor has developed several variants of the method, adapted to the treatment of sewage, sewage sludge and rainwater or leachate.
